IPX800 - Recurring blockings and reseting counters
Is your IPX800 blocked at the time of certain orders of the outputs? Do your counters reset without reason? Your IPX800 is certainly victim of disturbances on the electrical communication. To limit these disturbances, you must filter all the outputs which act on disturbing elements (example the lamps fluo and lights neons) or on elements with wire wind (example motor engines and telebreakers). With each time a relay of the IPX800 feeds such elements, the electronics of the IPX800 must support these disturbances and can be sometimes blocked, even by having a good electromagnetic compatibility.
To solve this problem, you can filter the outputs concerned, while placing a small antiparasite condenser in parallel of the output. We propose one of them on our official site (low cost).
Caution: certain blockings can also come from a under-dimensioned power supply. Indeed, if your supply outputs its maximum current and that the IPX800 requires some more, you are likely to make collapse the tension 12V, involving the blocking of the IPX800 then. It always should be taken care that your supply is suitably dimensioned in power, or that it is quite simply not deading…
